Is there a way to customize promotion buttons?

In our case, a single build can be promoted four different ways. Currently, those four options are shown in a drop down list. This works fine but the users report that it is very easy to slip and promote a wrong build (which is a deployment, so it's a problem). Ideally we would like to bring up a pop-up or a page with clearly separated, larger size buttons. Is that possible?
