How to set a step to run batch in cmd prompt? #3852

Hi,

I'm trying to run a program with cmd promt (CMD Window).

But in QuickBuild, the program couldn't be launched in cmd promt. It was always running on the backend because QuickBuild agent was running as Service.

I'm wondering if there is any solution that I can run a step then agent machine can prompt up cmd window and run program?

Please edit QB service in NT service control panel to tick the option "interact with desktop" to see if it works.

Hi, Robin,

I tried to set it as 'interact with the desktop' but failed to prompt up either.

I searched at this kinds of problems in topics and found you mentioned a workaround before:

Run "agent console" to start agent process then propmt-up worked!
