QB 9 strange behaviour in script fields #4073

Laba42 ·

I noticed a strange behavior in the script fields
If I write something in a "real" script field and then want to insert a quote sign " or a bracket sign ( at some point,
then something I wrote before is copied to this place.
for example

groovy:
def vari =

If I type after the equal sign a " or a ( then after the sign

groovy:
def vari = "def vari = "

written.

This happens in our test system migrated to QB 9.0.4, 2019-03-15 as well as in a new QB 9.0.4, 2019-03-15 installation.

Not happen at my side. What browser are you using? Does it have some form of auto-completing features?

Okay, I found a little helper tool that I think is responsible for.
But it's strange that this behavior doesn't occur with QB 8.
