Audit Log different behavior #4103

jclx ·

Upgrading to QB 9, the Audit log doesn't show events that happened in Children.
In QB 6, clicking on Root would show audit entries for all children.
It seems like the Audit from Admin does this.
Other child configurations audit would show its children too.
QB 9 shows empty audit even those there are events in the child cfg's.
This is handy to find out what changed at a high level.

This is true. Starting from QB8, audit log only records events for current configuration. Previously QB records configuration path in audit log which is fragile (audit log disappears when rename/move configurations), and now configuration id is recorded in audit log.
