Bit bucket Server: Sending email who triggered pull request #4136

mbachhav-intel ·

Hi Robin,

I have setup a configuration which triggers when new pull request is submitted.
I have also enabled email notification for trigger.

Email is not set to the person who triggered the build. it does send email to hard coded email ids though.

Which QB version are you using?

mbachhav-intel ·

Hi Robin,

I am using 8.0.38 version.

robinshen ADMIN ·

I tested and QB does able to send email to user triggering (or press the run button) the build. Note that here the trigger here DOES NOT mean the user creating the pull request.

So how can we send the email to the people who create the pull request? Thanks.

robinshen ADMIN ·

There is no such option yet. You may fire an improvement request at track.pmease.com

Hi Robin,

For me the committers since last build also did not get email.
Is this function working for you?

robinshen ADMIN ·

Yes sending email to committers also works. Probably the committer name can not be mapped to a QB user, hence QB can not determine the email to be used to send email. Please check the server log to make sure.
