Server-side error notifications? #4147

jmuirhead ·

Is there a way (perhaps something new in QB 9?) to send a notification when a server-side error occurs in a given QB configuration? For example, a configuration attempts to start a build based on a schedule. However, there are no build agents capable of running the build (no agents have the correct attributes/resource). Is there a way to send a notification, preferably email, in this case?

Thank you.

Build notifications should be helpful in this case. You may tell QB to send email upon failed builds. In case of no agents/resources, the build will be put into waiting state and after build is timed out, it will be considered failed.
