Unable to run configuration on server #4161

michalsznajder ·

I have a child configuration that has only one step (master). I overwrote this step and configured it to run on sever (in Settings->Steps->Click pen on master->change 'Node Selection' to 'On Server'.

When I run the configuration I get error: 'Error allocating node for step 'master': Can not find any node matching specified criteria.'. Is there a way that parent configuration may affect its children during node selection? IIf I move this child to other parent then there is no problem: configuration can be run an it is green.

Work your way back up toward the root of the configuration path. Look at each configuration's Advanced Settings | Node Assignment value. There could be a node assignment setting getting inherited down the configuration path.
