Server node workspace deleted after inplace upgrade. #4549

Hello,

I've upgraded QB 13 to 14

After then, my colleague asked me that build fails.

He used the server agent, and put some settings in the workspace directory,
like ~/QB_SERVER_ROOT/workspace/root/project/manually_added_file.txt.

His job reads the file but after upgraded, the workspace/* has cleared.
even qb_14/server~ which backup directory, there was no workspace directory was exisiting.

Do you think that deleting server-node-workspace is right process of upgrade?
I couldn't find this information from inplace upgrade guide document.

Please tell me your opinion.

This is expected behavior. The build should not rely on intermediate files in workspace as that is considered transient. Please either put those files into your SCM, or put them in some other folder, and checkout them via a file system repository.
